You need to have held your licence for at least 2 years to apply for a Heavy Rigid Licence. However, you can apply for a Light or Medium Rigid Licence! Talk to our team about which course or licence best applies to your current circumstances.
No. In order to undertake our truck driving courses, you need a current NSW car driver licence. We only offer licence upgrades for trucks.
A synchromesh gearbox is designed with synchronised gears, making it easier to change gears—more akin to driving a manual transmission car. Truck gearboxes that are not synchronised require ‘double-clutching’ to function properly.
